Terms of Use (Public Offer)

Fate Loom mobile application

Version 1.4 of 01.10.2026. Effective from 01.10.2026.

This is a translation of the Russian original. In case of any discrepancy, the Russian version prevails.

1. What this document is and how it is concluded

1.1. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a public offer within the meaning of Articles 435 and 437 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, addressed to any legally capable individual aged 18 or over.

1.2. The Licensor (also the operator of the Service and the seller):

1.3. You accept this offer by ticking "I accept the Terms of Use" during registration in the Application.

A new version of the Terms is accepted in the same way — by a separate action of the User (section 14).

1.4. Upon acceptance, a licence agreement is concluded between you and the Licensor on the terms set out here. No paper document is signed: the agreement is concluded by exchange of electronic messages.

1.5. The following form an integral part of the Terms:

Consent to the processing of personal data is given as a separate document by a separate action.

1.6. If you do not agree with any provision of the Terms, you may decline the offer and not use the Service.

2. Definitions

Service — the Fate Loom software as a whole: the mobile application and its server side.

Application — the Fate Loom mobile application distributed through Google Play and other app stores.

User — an individual who has accepted this offer.

Account — the User's account within the Service.

Threads — internal virtual units accounting for the scope of the User's rights to the paid functionality of the Service. Their legal status is set out in section 6.

Pro Subscription — an extended scope of rights to use the Service for a paid period, renewed automatically if the User agreed to auto-renewal when paying; payment, renewal and withdrawal are governed by the Purchase, Payment and Refund Rules.

Reading — an entertainment text generated by the Service from the drawn (including randomly drawn) tarot cards and the data entered by the User.

AI model — a third-party text generation system (large language model) engaged by the Licensor to produce the text of a Reading.

3. Subject matter

3.1. The Licensor grants the User a simple (non-exclusive), non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose — for personal, non-commercial, entertainment purposes, worldwide, for the term of the Terms.

3.2. The licence is granted in two scopes:

3.3. The Licensor does not provide fortune-telling, divination, clairvoyance, magical, occult, esoteric, healing, astrological, psychological, medical, legal, financial, investment or any other advisory services. The subject matter of the agreement is solely the right to use an entertainment software product.

3.4. All exclusive rights to the Service, its interface, card artwork, texts, audio, design, trademarks and databases belong to the Licensor or are used by it on a lawful basis. These Terms do not transfer any exclusive rights to the User.

4. Entertainment nature and no guarantee of outcome

This is the key section. Please read it in full.

4.1. The Service is an entertainment product. All Readings, answers to follow-up questions, affirmations and other texts are produced automatically: by a pseudo-random card selection algorithm and by an AI model that generates text based on statistical patterns of language.

4.2. The texts produced by the Service are not:

4.3. The Licensor gives no guarantee as to the accuracy, correctness, applicability, fulfilment or usefulness of the content of Readings and is not responsible for decisions taken by the User under their influence. All decisions are made by the User independently and at the User's own risk.

4.4. The AI model may generate inaccurate, incomplete, contradictory or invented statements. This is a property of the technology, not a defect of the Service.

4.5. The Service is not a substitute for consulting a doctor, psychologist, lawyer, financial adviser or other professional. If you experience anxiety, depression, or thoughts of harming yourself or others, seek professional help immediately. In the Russian Federation, free 24/7 psychological help of EMERCOM: 8 (800) 775-17-17; single emergency number: 112. Outside Russia, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline.

4.6. The User confirms that they understand the entertainment nature of the Service and do not treat its content as a guide to action.

4.7. Card images, their meanings and interpretations are artistic and entertainment material. The Licensor does not claim that tarot cards, the random drawing of cards or the generated text have any predictive, diagnostic or other power, and does not encourage anyone to be guided by them.

4.8. If the content of Readings causes the User concern or may affect their health, decisions or relationships with other people, the User should stop using the Service.

5. Age restriction

5.1. The Service is intended for persons aged 18 or over.

5.2. By accepting the offer, the User represents to the Licensor that they are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity.

5.3. The Licensor has no technical means of reliably verifying the User's age and relies on this representation. If the Terms were accepted by a person under 18, the Licensor may block the Account once it becomes aware of this.

5.4. Parents and other legal guardians are responsible for controlling minors' access to devices, payment instruments and app stores. Refunds of payments made by a minor are governed by the Purchase, Payment and Refund Rules.

6. Threads: legal status

6.1. Threads are conditional internal accounting units reflecting the scope of paid functionality available to the User.

6.2. Threads are not and may not be treated as:

6.3. Threads:

6.4. Threads may be obtained by purchasing a paid pack, through a Pro Subscription, for registration, for daily visits (streak), for watching rewarded advertisements, for inviting friends, and through other promotions.

6.5. Threads granted free of charge (bonus Threads) have no monetary equivalent, are not refundable or compensable under any circumstances, and may be revoked by the Licensor in case of abuse.

6.6. The Licensor may change the cost of Service functions expressed in Threads and the size of bonus grants. Changes apply prospectively and do not affect Threads already spent.

6.7. The maximum Thread balance may be capped. The current cap is shown in the Application.

6.8. Before deleting the Account, the User may request a refund for unspent purchased Threads and the unused Subscription period under the Purchase, Payment and Refund Rules. When the Account is deleted, the remaining Threads are cancelled.

7. Registration and Account

7.1. To access functionality requiring an Account, the User registers via an external sign-in service. The available sign-in methods are shown in the Application and depend on the country determined from the IP address: in the Russian Federation sign-in is via VK ID; outside it, Google is also available.

7.2. The User must keep secure the account they use to sign in to the Service (VK ID or Google). All actions performed in the Account are deemed performed by the User.

7.3. The User may hold only one Account. Creating multiple Accounts to obtain bonuses, referral rewards or to circumvent limits is prohibited.

7.4. Accounts are non-transferable. Selling, renting or exchanging Accounts is prohibited.

7.5. The User may delete their Account at any time within the Application or by writing to support@fateloom.app. The consequences are described in clause 6.8 and in the Privacy Policy.

8. Content entered by the User

8.1. The User decides what information to enter into the question field and the questionnaires (name or form of address, date of birth, gender, life areas, description of the current situation, main goal). There may be several questionnaires, including ones about other people for whom the User makes a Reading.

8.1.1. By creating a questionnaire about another person, the User confirms that they have obtained that person's consent to the transfer of their data to the Licensor and to its processing on the terms of the Privacy Policy, including transfer to the AI model in the territory of foreign states, or that the information in the questionnaire does not allow that person to be identified. At the Licensor's request the User shall confirm that such consent exists.

8.2. The User must not enter into the Service:

8.3. Entering such information despite this prohibition is done at the User's own risk, and the User is solely liable to third parties for it.

8.4. The text entered is transmitted to the AI model, including to the territory of foreign states. The conditions of such transfer are disclosed in the Privacy Policy and covered by a separate consent.

8.5. The User grants the Licensor a royalty-free right to use the entered data and generated Readings in anonymised form to improve the quality of the Service.

9. Prohibited conduct

9.1. The User must not:

9.2. On detecting a breach, the Licensor may, without prior notice, restrict access, suspend or block the Account, and cancel bonus Threads and rewards obtained in breach.

9.3. Where an Account is blocked for a breach of clause 9.1, the value of functionality already used is not refunded. A request for a refund of unspent purchased Threads is considered under the Purchase, Payment and Refund Rules; bonus Threads and rewards obtained in breach are cancelled.

10. Advertising and rewarded views

10.1. The Service may display advertising, including video advertisements which the User may voluntarily watch in exchange for bonus Threads.

10.2. Advertising is supplied by third-party ad networks listed in the Privacy Policy. The Licensor is not the advertiser, does not determine the content of advertising and is not responsible for it or for third parties' goods and services. Any relationship between the User and an advertiser arises without the Licensor's involvement.

10.3. The number of rewarded views per day is limited. A reward is credited when the ad network's software component reports that the view has been completed. No ad being available, a failure of the ad network or connection, closing the video before it ends, or reaching the daily limit or the maximum Thread balance does not give rise to a right to a reward.

10.4. The Pro Subscription does not turn off advertising unless the Application expressly states otherwise.

11. Referral programme

11.1. The Licensor may run a referral programme rewarding Users for inviting new users with a personal code.

11.2. The terms, amounts and timing are determined by the Licensor and may be changed at any time by publication in the Application.

11.3. Referral rewards are bonus Threads or Subscription days and are subject to clause 6.5.

11.4. The Licensor may cancel referral rewards and block Accounts where inflation, multi-accounting, emulator use or other abuse is detected.

12. Availability of the Service

12.1. The Service is provided "as is". The Licensor does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with all devices and operating system versions, or the preservation of data stored locally on the User's device.

12.2. The Licensor may carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with temporary suspension of access.

12.3. The Licensor may change, supplement and discontinue individual functions. If a function for which the User has paid is discontinued, section 5 of the Purchase, Payment and Refund Rules applies.

12.4. The Service depends on third-party services (VK ID, Google, payment services, AI providers, telecom operators). The Licensor is not responsible for failures or restrictions on their side, including access restrictions imposed by state authorities.

13. Liability

13.1. The Licensor is liable in accordance with the law of the Russian Federation, including the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", subject to the provisions of this section.

13.2. Unless otherwise provided by law, the Licensor is not liable for:

13.3. The Licensor is not liable for failure to perform or improper performance of its obligations caused by the acts of the User or third parties or by the circumstances referred to in clauses 12.4 and 16.1.

13.4. The User shall reimburse the Licensor for documented losses caused by the User's breach of section 8 or section 9, including claims by third parties whose personal data the User entered into the Service without consent.

14. Changes to the Terms

14.1. The Licensor may issue new versions of the Terms and their annexes. A new version applies prospectively.

14.2. A new version is published in the Application and at https://fateloom.app/legal/terms and takes effect 10 (ten) calendar days after publication, unless a later date is stated in it.

14.3. The Service shows the User the new version and asks the User to accept it by a separate action. Until acceptance, access to paid functionality may be restricted; Threads already purchased and the paid Subscription period are preserved and not recalculated.

14.4. A User who disagrees with a new version may decline it, stop using the Service, request a refund for unspent purchased Threads and the unused Subscription period under the Purchase, Payment and Refund Rules, and delete their Account.

14.5. The Licensor retains all previous versions and provides them on request.

15. Term and termination

15.1. The Terms are effective from acceptance until the Account is deleted or the Service ceases operation.

15.2. The User may terminate at any time by deleting their Account.

15.3. The Licensor may terminate unilaterally and out of court for a breach of section 9, notifying the User at the e-mail address linked to the Account or through the Service.

15.4. The Licensor may cease operation of the Service, giving Users at least 30 (thirty) calendar days' notice through the Service. In that case the User may claim a refund for unspent purchased Threads and for the unused paid Subscription period under section 5 of the Purchase, Payment and Refund Rules.

16. Force majeure

16.1. Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control: natural disasters, hostilities, epidemics, acts of public authorities including restrictions on access to communication networks, app stores and payment services, and major failures of communication and power networks.

17. Disputes

17.1. The parties will seek to resolve disputes through negotiation. The User may send a written claim to support@fateloom.app; it is considered within 10 (ten) calendar days of receipt, or within such other period as consumer protection law prescribes. Sending a claim is not a mandatory precondition for going to court unless the law provides otherwise.

17.2. A dispute may be referred to a court.

17.3. Governing law: the law of the Russian Federation.

17.4. A consumer located in the Russian Federation may bring a claim at their own choice of venue under Article 17 of the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights"; nothing in these Terms restricts that right.

17.5. For Users located outside the Russian Federation, the law of the Russian Federation applies to the extent it does not conflict with the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of habitual residence. Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.

18. Final provisions

18.1. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.

18.2. Legally significant notices are sent: to the Licensor — to support@fateloom.app; to the User — to the e-mail address linked to the Account or through Service notifications. Delivery of a notice is governed by Article 165.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.

18.3. The language of the Terms is Russian. In case of discrepancy between the Russian and any other language version, the Russian version prevails.
